This Monthly Midweek Adventure is in memory of Ian Cooper who passed away 6 years ago (April 16 2019).

Ian and I started the Midweek Adventures in 2004 and still, after all these years we enjoy this monthly flying event.

This Monthly Midweek Adventure will therefore be in the UK and ends with a flight over Ian’s house near Gloucester airport.

New in this MMWA is that we will navigate according to VFR, and by this I mean real visual flying.

So, only a global Little Navmap plan and FMS-plan and you’ll have to look outside and compare what you see with your map to know where you are.
An aircraft with a cruise speed of 180 knots, like the Beechcraft C90, comes in handy as you’ll have to calculate your flying time for every hop.
Prepare yourself for a VFR flight.
