Our monthly VFR venture using mostly prop aircraft – flying in some of the most inhospitable places on the planet. Maybe 6 to 8 hops of approx 30nm each – sounds simple but these airports have no navaids – are frequently very short and have risky approach paths. Weather can be notoriously bad – crosswind landings and take-offs compound things further. Do not be afraid to try it – we have already littered the world with wrecked aircraft!
